Very busy here meeting with organisations to talk about PAC. The response to the idea has been overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic so far. Everyone I have spoken to has said it seems to be something that can join the dots to link HEI's with practice. I should be able to confirm some exciting organisations soon.

Main learning point has been how talking about the project has made me consider different benefits and challenges related to organisational scale...

Work on the website development is going really well. So far we have created a short info film to support the students understanding of the project, as well as building organisation profiles to add to our search engine. On track for our website launch on the 23rd of September!

Hi all - Melaneia it sounds like your project is coming on very nicely.

Just to update where Trinity Laban are. We had our first action research day on Monday where 14 cross arts project managers from across London came together to discuss topics around our main research question. The sessions are being facilitated by Hannah Wilmott who has been absolutely fantastic and has really grasped what we're aiming to achieve through the project.

This Friday we bring together the 10 cross arts participatory artists who will be discussing the same topics.

The days have been incredibly thought provoking and the participants have been incredibly open and willing to discuss the research area. It's obvious that the topic has struck a real interest with both participant groups.

Hello everyone - update and web address links. We were a little delayed waiting for information from organisations for the web-site but we have now got the majority of what we needed.

Participatory Arts Connect - PAC

Participatory Arts Connect (PAC) is a new and dynamic network that aims to link practice and training within the participatory arts sector.  We support students from Higher Education Institutes (HEI's) , such as Universities and colleges, to connect with 'real time' participatory arts projects taking place across the UK.

Navigate our Network through our website www.pac-network.com and search the profiles of participating organisations using the password : hamlyn

Follow out Twitter stream and Tweet about us at: @PACNetwork

If your organisation would like to take part in our pilot project, or to join us in the future, please contact Project Leader Melaneia Warwick on info@pria-arts.com

We would love to hear your thoughts about the web-site and anything PAC!

Many thanks

Melaneia
